An example

The following is an example of how you could lay out a typical system, with notations to show how each of the techniques we have discussed would be applied.  Again, click on the picture to get a full-size version.

The layout worksheet helps you to visualize where the 8-channel connector boundaries are.  Keep in mind that you cannot plug a 4-ch or 8-ch connector across a connector boundary.
